Mathew McHugh - Fly Fishing Travel Advisor
The architect behind the concept of Fly Odyssey, Mathew was born in Australia and has fished the entire length and breadth of the country.
A passion for fish lead to a degree in aquatic science and then travel throughout the world in search of fish that would take a fly. He settled on New Zealand as the ultimate trout fishing destination and has worked in helping to preserve New Zealand's aquatic ecosystems through working with the National Institute of Water and Atmosphere (NIWA).
A writer, photographer and passionate angler, Mathew has a comprehensive knowledge of the fish and the fly-fishing opportunities of the region.
Georgina Bass - Sales and Marketing Manager
Georgina, born and raised in Southern England, is our Sales and Marketing guru. Having risen to the top of her field as a project manager and recruitment consultant, Georgina decided to transfer her passion for travel into a career dedicated to ensuring your travel needs are fully catered to.
She has travelled widely to all continents and has a understanding of travel logistics and organisation of travel arrangements to ensure a hassle-free journey.
Having lived in both Australia and New Zealand and travelled widely in the South Pacific, she has an in-depth knowledge of the culture, the people and the environmental qualities of the region.
Simon Chu - South Pacific Consultant
Simon born, raised and living in New Zealand has been fly-fishing and guiding the region for over 20 years. He has an intimate knowledge of both the North and South Islands of New Zealand as well as Christmas Island bonefish and the tropical waters of Northern Australia.
Simon provides regional support to clients travelling to Fly Odyssey destinations to ensure each trip is a trouble-free experience. Simon provides up-to-date information on the latest happenings from his part of the world.
